2009 Sept 23 PVC Project

PVC Digital Camera Fig Rig to Stand

September 23, 2009

To continue with my project of a PVC Monopod, I have been noticing that I was worried about how it wobbled a lot as it stand it up straight up and place my Camera Arm at the highest point.

I researched PVC camera mount in Google, youtube, and on instructables. I came up with a Fig Rig configuration brought by the source link below. I thought about incorporating this to my mono pod / camera stand.

On my previous blog, a friend comment me to fork over the cash to get a Dolica STC-100 63-Inch Tripod with 68-Inch Ball Head Tripod Kit at the price $42.92 from Amazon.com. This kit doesn’t come with a Quick Release. I rather spend under $10 bucks for PVC equipment rather to pay for a set like this. Thanks for the comment though.

Thanks for reading.

I like your way of thinking. That’s a versatile design you’ve got there.

I seem to think along the same vein as you. You might want to check out some of my videos on YouTube. Many are about PVC camera equipment, including a quick-release, using similar methods to yours. Don’t you just love PVC?
